Cisco | PVST - HSRP - DHCP
Berikut ini adalah memisahakan trafik jaringan dari satu sumber ke titik tujuan melewati switch core yg mana. Artinya masing-masing vlan akan diatur rutenya lewat core yg mana, sehingga switc core tidak akan terbebani hanya pada satu swith sj. maka solusinya dengan PVST.
Disini kt membuat DHCP, artinya ketika core-1 down (maintenance) service dhcp tdk akan terganggu, karena masih dicover dengan switch core-2. Mk solusinya mengajtifkan fitur HSRP.
Secara Garis Besar Hirarki LAN dibagi menjadi 3 Layer
- Core Switch Layer (Cat4507, Cat6500, N7K, N9K)
- Distrubution Switch Layer (Cat 3750x, Cat4503, N5K )
- Access Switch Layer (Cat29xx, Cat1000, Cat9200, N2K)
C = Catalyst
N = Nexus
